Full review

What it is like to live with

This feels more finished and car-like than the cheapest city EVs. The trade is packaging: its low roof, small steering wheel and compact rear compartment favour style over maximum space.

What works

Up to 433 km WLTP

Compact 4.06 m length

Smart i-Cockpit and stronger cabin finish

What irritates

Small rear space and 309 L boot

100 kW charging caps travel speed

Driving position does not suit everyone

Family + dog

Polished cabin, small dog capacity

The low roof and 309-litre boot suit a small dog, but they are less crate-friendly than the Grande Panda's boxier rear compartment.

Trips + camping

The city trio's longest-legged option

Up to 433 km WLTP makes weekend travel easier than in its Stellantis relatives, although 100 kW charging still limits repeated motorway stops.

City + daily life · 4.8/5

Compact, efficient and sharper to drive

Its narrow body and low stance suit urban roads; the unusual i-Cockpit driving position and rear visibility should be tested before buying.

Cargo · 2.8/5

Useful folded capacity, restricted hatch height

The rear seats release up to 1,118 litres for occasional loads, while the low opening remains unsuitable for tall boxes or bulky equipment.

Taxi + high mileage · 3.8/5

Efficient city work with airport limitations

The E-208 is presentable and economical, but tight rear seating and the small boot restrict passengers with large luggage.

Details worth knowing

Three useful fun facts

  1. 01

The 208 introduced Peugeot's small steering wheel and high-set instrument concept to this class.

  2. 02

Its three-claw daytime lights echo Peugeot's lion identity.

  3. 03

The electric version keeps the same 309 L luggage volume across current E-208 trims.
